Bomb Threats Briefly Close West Michigan Walmarts

GANDVILLE, Mich – Two West Michigan Walmart stores were evacuated Friday night due to a bomb threat.

The Holland Department of Public Safety told FOX 17 that a call came in at 9:56 p.m. from the Walmart located on North Park Drive in Holland Township. He said at about the same time another Walmart, located in Grandville on Kenowa Ave. also reported a bomb threat.

The Grandville store was closed briefly around 10pm, but after a search was re-opened around 11pm for business.

The HDPS said they heard the bomb threats have been called in for Walmart’s on a nationwide scale.
