GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This week, the 57th annual Michigan Reading Association Conference will be held in Grand Rapids.
Thousands of authors, educators, illustrators, parents and young writers are expected to attend from across the country.
The conference begins on Friday and will go through Sunday. It will feature events like writing and teaching workshops, an awards ceremony for young writers and nationally recognized speakers.
The first day of the conference will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Amway Grand Plaza, and on Saturday and Sunday, the conference will happen from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Amway Grand Plaza and DeVos Place.
