GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection to the death of a Grand Rapids man.
On March 3, an ambulance was called to the 400 block of Adams Street SE, for an unresponsive man who had reportedly fallen, according to a Grand Rapids Police Department news release.
Officials said Douglas Barry was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where he died the following morning.
The Kent County Medical Examiner ruled Barry’s death as a homicide that resulted from a head injury.
Eric Sear, was charged with homicide in the second degree, larceny from a person and conspiracy to commit larceny.
He is being held at the Kent County Correctional Facility.
Cari Johnson was also arrested. She has been charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.
