Lady Gaga Has Postponed Shows In Detroit, Chicago, Canada

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Lady Gaga has postponed her show scheduled for Detroit this Saturday, Feb.16, due to a doctor’s order.

Live Nation Global confirmed that Gaga has a case of synovitis, which is severe inflammation of the joints.

“I am completely devastated and heartsick,” the singer said on her Twitter account and website. “I’ve been hiding this injury and pain from my staff for a month, praying it would heal, but after last night’s performance I could not walk. To the fans in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, I hope you can forgive me as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself right now.”

The shows will be rescheduled and fans are advised to retain their tickets, according to the singer’s Web site. Refunds will be available at point of purchase

The shows included are the following:
February 13 and 14 – Chicago, IL – United Center
February 16 – Detroit, MI – The Palace of Auburn Hills
February 17 – Hamilton, ON – Copps Coliseum
