GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — On Tuesday evening, Grand Rapids Police Capt. Eric Payne is inviting the community to join him for coffee and a conversation about recent violence in the city.
The event is part of an ongoing effort to get neighbors involved in putting a stop to the deadly violence that has broken out in recent months. Capt. Payne wants public input to be a part of the discussions.
Coffee With Capt. Payne will take place Tuesday, February 5, at 5:30 p.m. near the First Christian Reformed Church at 636 Bates St. S.E.
