GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Is Titus Young trying to get cut by the Detroit Lions?
The troubled wide receiver, who was sent home on three different occasions by the Lions in 2012, vented frustation on his twitter page earlier this week hinting that he may quit football. Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said Young’s choice to vent on twitter was the best of decisions. Today, Young ignored that advice and took to twitter again.
Young later added this on his twitter page:
At the end of last season, the Lions had once again sent Young home and away from the team. However, both Schwartz and Lions general manager Martin Mayhew refused to shut the door on the idea of a Young return to the Lions in 2013. Young is still under contract with the Detroit Lions.
