ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Public safety crews were called to the scene of an apartment fire on Winchester Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Crews found the fire in the second floor apartment in the living room ceiling.
They managed to put out the fire and the damage was contained to just that living room.
Reserve firefighters and off-duty crews had to be called in for back up, but all responding units left just after 7 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
