ALLEGAN, Mich. –A man was shot after three men broke into his home.
At about 9 p.m. Sunday Night, the Allegan Police Department said three suspects broke into the home located at 204 Marshall Street and shot James Finch, 34, in the upper leg.
Police believe the suspects were looking to steal marijuana, because Finch had a grow operation in his house.
The police were able to obtain surveillance video of the robbers, thanks to two surveillance cameras located at the home.
The camera located on the front side of the home was able to catch all three of the suspects walking up to the house. The second camera, located inside the carport on the side of the home, caught suspect number one entering the carport when he noticed the camera. He then turned around and covered his face before attempting to disable to camera. While suspect one was trying to disable the camera, a second suspect enters the carport and is clearly seen on the camera.
Police are still looking for all three suspects. They are believed to be armed and dangerous.
Finch is currently in the hospital in stable condition.
