MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – Retired Montcalm County Undersheriff, Bill Burden, has died.
Burden died on Jan. 10, 2013.
He battled with pancreatic cancer for two years.
He was born was in Grand Rapids, Mich. on August 21, 1947.
Burden was a member of the VFW and NRA. He also had a long career in law enforcement and spent 30 years with the Kent County Sheriff’s Department. After retiring as Captain of Detectives, he spent nine years with the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Department servings as undersheriff.
