A Muskegon man faces child endangerment and other felony charges after being arrested possessing drugs with his 5-year-old daughter in the car.
At 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, Muskegon police officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Breon Lamont Sanders, 27, on Holbrook Avenue near Wood Street in Muskegon. At that time officers found what appeared to be crack cocaine and marijuana hidden in Sanders’ groin area and a shoe.
At the time of the stop, Sanders was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe with his 5-year-old daughter as an occupant.
In addition to child endangerment, he has been charged with second-offense possession of controlled substances, second-offense possession of marijuana, operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and second-offense driving with a suspended license.
Sanders’ arraignment has been scheduled for Jan. 23 in Muskegon.
