GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A child was listed in critical condition Thursday after being struck by a vehicle.
The incident happened as the 6-year-old was attempting to cross the street on Bristol Avenue. Grand Rapids police and fire departments responded to the scene at about 6:00 p.m.
The child was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Alcohol was not a factor.
