Drug Bust, Children Removed From Home

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Three children have been removed from their home after officials arrested a woman on drug charges.

Upon receiving a tip, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team searched the home of Melissa Goodman, 27, located at the 15000 block of US 12, in Porter Township.

Officials found Marijuana and Hash inside the home.

Goodman was arrested. The three children were placed into protective custody.

Goodman was arraigned in the 4th District Court on Jan. 4, 2013. She was charged with possession with intent to manufacture hash, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house.

She is being held at the Cass County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
