NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. – The Newaygo County Sheriff Department says two people questioned in a double homicide have returned to Michigan.
Meshell Grant, 32, and Chad Wilkinson, 35, are back in Michigan now after being extradited from Harrison County, Texas.
Grant is being held in the Newaygo County jail on a probation violation. Wilkinson has been charged and is currently being held at the Newaygo County jail on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Both are also being interviewed in connection with the homicide of Joe Cherneski and Patty Vandyk.
There are currently no charges yet regarding the homicide of Mr. Cherneski and Ms. VanDyk.
