Lions Lose 8th Straight To End 2012

Posted

Jim Schwartz’s future is up in the air and the Lions left a lot of fans disappointed after finishing the season with a 26-24 loss to the Bears for Detroit’s eighth straight defeat.

The Lions trailed 20-10 at the half, and pulled off quite a comeback but it was not enough for the Bears – who clinch a wild card spot with a Vikings loss.

ESPN is reporting that the Ford Family -which owns the Lions – will be evaluating Schwartz’s status with the team. Lions General Manager Martin Mayhew declined to comment after the game and said he would speak with reporters on Wednesday. The ESPN report also states that the Ford family has been unhappy with the team’s disappointments both on and off the field.

Detroit finishes the season 4-and-12.
