BARRY COUNTY, Mich. – The man who allegedly drove on an expired license Wednesday, causing a deadly crash in Barry County, has a lengthy driving record.

Elvin Kizziar, 36, has a record that dates back to 1996. Officials released nine pages in total of Kizziar’s previous offenses.

FOX 17 News investigated his record and found that he was convicted earlier this month on three counts of assaulting, resisting and obstructing an police officer.

Kizziar is being held at the Barry County Jail on the charge of driving on a suspended license causing death.
