MARNE, Mich. — A woman was taken to the hospital after a one car crash early Saturday morning.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department says it happened around 2:37 a.m. on westbound I-96 near 8th Avenue in Wright Township.
Police say Kendra Sue Huyser, 21, of Jension, lost control and rolled her vehicle several times.
A witness told police shortly before the crash they saw a vehicle pass them at a high rate of speed before it lost control.
Huyser was ejected from the vehicle, police added.
She was taken to Spectrum Butterworth for treatment and is expected to survive.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
