GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Police are looking for suspects after two armed robberies late Wednesday night.
The first happened at approximately 10:01 p.m. in the 2100 block of St. Charles Avenue SW. A woman was getting out of her car, when three teenagers came up to her. They are all black men, and were last seen wearing all black and masks.
One of the teens had a long gun. After the robbery, they ran northbound. Police are not sure what they took from the woman.
Then around 11:51 p.m., another incident happened in the 900 block of Logan Street SE. Two black men in their 20s tried to rob a person but did not end up getting away with anything.
One of the people had a handgun, and a shot was fired. No one was injured, though, and the suspects ran toward the south. Police dogs tracked them toward the area of Baxter Street and Eastern Avenue SE, until they lost the track.
