Lions Lose 6th Straight, Fall to Cardinals 38-10

GLENDALE, Ariz — The Lions can’t even beat the bad teams.

The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Detroit Lions 38-10 to snap a nine-game losing streak. Detroit has now lost their last six straight.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was picked off three times with two of the interceptions being taken back for Arizona touchdowns. Rashad Johnson picked off Stafford late in the second quarter and took it back 53 yards for the score. Then in the fourth quarter win Arizona leading 24-10, on fourth and two from the Cardinals four-yard line, Greg Tolar picked Stafford off in the end zone and took it back 102 yards for game-clinching score.

Detroit is now 4-10 on the season with two home games remaining. The Lions host the Atlanta Falcons Saturday night at Ford Field and then close the season with a home date against the Chicago Bears on December 30.
