MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich., — The new year will bring in a new prosecutor for Muskegon County after the current prosecutor, Tony Tague, announced that he will retire at the end of December.
Tague has held the position since 1988 and has seen a number of high-profile cases during his tenure.
Tague plans to become a defense attorney, but is unsure of whether he will start his own firm or join another.
D.J. Hilson, who has worked in the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office for 14 years, will become the new prosecutor.
