Arrests Made After Small Fight In GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) reports two arrests have been made after a small fight, the suspects allegedly carrying a concealed weapon.

The incident happened  just before 3:44 p.m. near the 600 block of Stocking NW and 4th Avenue NW.

According to witnesses at the scene and GRPD, a suspect heard sirens and handed a gun to a female and took off on foot. The incident was observed by an undercover officer.

Police caught up with him nearby, the woman was found with the gun and a knife. Both were arrested on concealed weapon charges.
