PORTAGE, Mich – An infant was found not breathing Tuesday, now an autopsy has been scheduled to figure out why the baby died.
The call came in around 12:45 p.m. at the 6400 block of Independence Drive. Emergency crews were unable to revive the baby.
The infant was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
Portage Public Safety issued a search warrant at the residence to further investigate. An autopsy is scheduled to discover the exact cause of death.
