Local Organizations Provide Thanksgiving Dinner to Those in Need

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., — Thanksgiving will come a day early in some places throughout West Michigan as organizations plan to serve thanksgiving dinner to people in need on Nov. 21.

The Holland Rescue Mission will serve 1,400 people who otherwise might not be able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner.

The dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.

In addition, Dégagé Ministries plans to serve 300 homeless and disadvantaged people a Thanksgiving dinner at their location on Division Avenue in Grand Rapids.
