GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Brett Christiansen and his team at Bright Idea Pictures is getting ready to shoot a feature film that’s been getting a lot of attention around town.
Flyers for the casting call were placed in unique locations around downtown GR. The film has a true viral grass-roots effort.
Christiansen, founder of West Michigan independent film company Bright Idea Pictures, talked with FOX 17’s Michele DeSelms and Tim Doty about the casting call coming up on June 9.
Christiansen explained the film will be non-union and feature local home-grown Michigan talent.
The crew will be a talented group of friends that will be traveling from all over the country to participate in the film. It will be shot all over Michigan.
The team hopes to debut Finding Home sometime in 2013.
