ODESSA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police are investigating a speed and alcohol-related crash that took the life of a 10-year-old boy and hurt and 9-year-old girl.
MSP Lakeview said that troopers responded to the scene on Clinton Trail near Tasker Rd. in Odessa Township of Ionia County just before 9 p.m. Friday night.
Investigators believe the 33-year-old male driver was headed west on Clinton Trail when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and rolled multiple times.
Both the young girl and the driver were taken to hospitals in Grand Rapids where they are both expected to make a full recovery.
