KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The city of Kalamazoo says they're shifting traffic while construction at the Portage Road and Cork Street intersection.
The shift will start May 13th and will last until June 5th.
Portage Road near Cork Street will be down to one lane in both directions, shifting from the west side to the east, with limited turns onto Cork Street.
Eastbound traffic will use the Lovers Lane to Miller Road, east to Emerald Drive detour. Westbound traffic will use Emerald Street to Miller Road.
Traffic traveling east on Cork Street wishing to turn left on Portage Road will need to take Lovers Lane.
The City of Kalamazoo says sidewalks will stay open.
