KALAMAZOO, Mich. — An early morning fire damaged a home in the 1400 block of Krom Street in Kalamazoo Monday.
First responders were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. and found the fire coming out of the roof and a live power line on the ground, reports the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
It took crews about 30 minutes to get the fire under control, and an investigation is underway.
Neighbors told KDPS the house was vacant.
