Two victims show up at Bronson hospital with gunshot wounds

OSHTEMO TWP., Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s office says it is investigating after two people showed up to Bronson Hospital early Sunday with gunshot wounds.

Police say they responded to several calls of shots fired and a possible man down around 12:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of Copper Beach Blvd.

Upon arriving, police say they found no victims.

A short time later, the victims showed up the hospital. Police say the victims are a 22-year-old male from Kalamazoo and a 23-year-old man from Detroit.

The extent of their injuries is unclear.

The suspect is being described as an African-American man wearing a “varsity type jacket”.

Police say the suspect was last seen riding away from the scene of the shooting in the passenger seat of a white Chrysler 300.
