Portion of Eaton County highway reopens after crash

CHARLOTTE, Mich. — A portion of northbound I-69 was closed for at least three hours Sunday following a crash in Eaton County.

Northbound I-69 near mile marker 58 was closed shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday morning, according to an alert issued by Eaton County Central Dispatch.

Drivers were told to avoid the area and use Cochran Road to exit the highway.

All lanes reopened shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday.

There were no serious injuries, according to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Department.
