GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Grand Rapids police officer and a west side five-year-old got to check out each other’s cars over the weekend.
GRPD posted on their Facebook page a letter from Heidi on the northwest side. According to the letter, Officer Ickes spotted her son, Travis, in his toy police car on the corner and stopped by to check it out. Officer Ickes also let Travis check out his patrol car.
