GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An elderly woman was seriously injured after her van rolled in a crash Saturday afternoon.

It happened  just after 2:00 p.m. on Baldwin Street near the intersection of Sally Drive in Georgetown Township.

Police said a 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by Henrietta Baas, 80, didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit a 2003 Honda SUV, driven by Robert Mccluer, 29.

The impact caused the van to roll and Baas had to be rescued by the Georgetown Township Fire and Rescue. Authorities said Baas was taken to Spectrum Butterworth in Grand Rapids and treated for serious injuries.

Mccluer was treated at the scene and released.
