HOLLAND, Mich. — As part of the multi-stage construction project on US-31 in the Holland area, several intersections on US-31 will be closed for short periods the evening of Monday, March 28. The closures are required so that lighting crews can work with no traffic nearby.
The closures should take no longer than 10 minutes at a time, and they all are restricted to the hours between 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. that night:
- US-31 at James Street
- US-31 at Felch Street
- US-31 at Riley Street
- US-31 at Quincy Street
The construction project, which includes repaving and traffic signal upgrades, is currently in its first phase. Work is being done at traffic signals at intersections until the Tulip Time festival begins. Some lane closures and turn lane closures can be expected at times.
Major work in Phase 2 gets underway after Tulip Time.
