Long delays at Fulton Street intersection at Forest Hill Avenue to continue into September

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A road project that has caused long delays on M-21 E. Fulton Street was originally scheduled to end August 22, but a new post on a Michigan Department of Transportation web site shows the project has been extended.

The bridge repair project features lane closures and a traffic shift on M-21 between Crahen Avenue and Taos Avenue and includes the intersection with Forest Hill Avenue, and that’s the problem spot. Drivers on both roads experience long delays at the traffic signal.

MDOT’s MiDrive web site now lists the lane closure continuing until September 19 and the traffic shift continuing to November 4.
