GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a local trucking business early Monday morning, but when they arrived, they discovered that it was triggered by an explosion and a resulting fire.
It happened at Masselink Brothers Trucking Service on Freeman Avenue SW. Dispatchers say it appears the explosion was caused by a gas leak of some kind.
There are no reports of injuries at the scene.
