PORTAGE, Mich.- The identity of the 10-year-old girl was killed Friday in a crash in Portage has been released.
According to a release from Portage Department of Public Safety, the 10-year-old has been identified as Faith Hall of Vicksburg.
Officers state, the two-vehicle crash was reported at about 5:56 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Portage Road and Lakeview Drive.
Police say a 24-year-old Portage resident turned their vehicle off of Lakeview into the path of a Ford Escort driven by a 37-year-old from Vicksburg.
Hall was the front seat passenger in the Escort and she was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital in critical condition and later died, according to a release.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
