HOLLAND, Mich. (June 30, 2014) — Holland made it past the first round of Parade’s tournament to determine the best main street in America.
The city’s Eighth Street “pulses with events for all ages,” Parade’s website says. Holland beat out Excelsior, Minn. in a bracket of 16 finalists, and now faces Siloam Springs, Ark. in the next round.
Voting for the quarterfinals ends Monday at 11:59 p.m. You can vote here.
The other main streets still in the competition are in McMinnville, Ore., Georgetown, Tex. Rockland, Maine, Ellicott City, Md., Collierville, Tenn. and DeLand, Fla.
