Crews Battle Fire at Jamestown Township Home

JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich (February 28, 2014) – Multiple departments have responded to a house fire in Jamestown Township Friday evening.

Crews were first called to the home in the 3700 block of 8th Avenue about 5:15 p.m. on reports of smoke coming from the home.  Authorities say flames were visible when crews arrived.

Everyone inside the home was able to get out safely.

Firefighters from Jamestown Township, Georgetown Township and Blendon Township are still on the scene.

No word yet on a cause, or damage estimates.
