MUSKEGON, Mich (February 28, 2014) – A two vehicle crash involving and EMS Ambulance is under investigation in the City of Muskegon.
Witnesses tell us the crash happened near the intersection of Laketon Avenue and Getty Street just before 3:00 p.m.
The EMS vehicle involved is a North Ottawa ambulance, and wasn’t carrying any patients at the time of the crash according to police.
Police also say no serious injuries were reported at the scene of the crash, and no medical assistance was called to the scene.
A representative with North Ottawa Ambulance tells FOX17 a mechanic was driving the ambulance at the time of the crash, which had just been serviced for an alignment issue. No lights or sirens were active at the time of the collision.
The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation by the Muskegon Police Department.
