WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — Snow showers continue Friday night, mainly downwind of Lake Michigan, but a more widespread snow is expected on Saturday– especially south of Grand Rapids.
This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows the swath of accumulating snow in the southern sections of our viewing area. This is not expected to be a big snow; in fact, most areas will only get a few inches at the most.
A bigger weather story is looming for next week as some very cold air dives into Michigan. It’s expected to hang around for quite some time. More on this cold outbreak on FOX 17 News. The latest radar image is just a click away at http://www.fox17online.com/weather
