Teen Shot To Death In Muskegon Heights Is ID’d

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — A teenager who was shot to death early Saturday morning in the same area where a teen was killed three weeks ago has been identified.

At 4 a.m. Saturday, the Muskegon Heights Police Department responded to a fatal shooting in the 2400 block of Sixth Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that 19-year-old Quinton Miller of Muskegon had been shot at least once in the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooter is still being sought, although police are working on leads.

Miller is a former standout football player for Muskegon High School.

This marks the same area where 18-year-old Kentae Jones of Muskegon Heights was shot to death on Jan. 24.
