COLDWATER, Mich. – A man was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning and is listed in serious condition.
The man was attempting to cross the road on the north side of E. Chicago Street in Coldwater, when he was struck by a Ford Focus heading northbound on Michigan Avenue.
The man was transferred by Lifteflight air ambulance out of Toledo, Ohio to a Kalamazoo hospital.
The driver, John Starr of Coldwater, was not injured.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
