Officials say no one was injured in a mobile home fire this afternoon on Pippin Drive in Walker. The home is considered a total loss. (June 2, 2009)

A mobile home in Walker was destroyed by a fire this afternoon. It started around 2:30 p.m. On Pippin Drive, not far from Leonard Street and Wilson Avenue.
Officials say a woman was home at the time of the fire, but was able to escape unharmed. Crews were able to put the fire out pretty quickly, but the place is being considered a total loss.
Early investigation results indicate the flames started in the back of the trailer, but still no word on what caused the fire.
