GRAND RAPIDS -
Video games aren't just for kids anymore. Senior citizens in Grand Rapids are getting caught up in the Wii craze.
Tryna Berends has lived at Fulton Manor, in Grand Rapids, for 16 years. She says the place was full of life Friday because of a challenge from another group, the Grand Rapids Senior Neighbors.
There's so much excitement. I don't know when there's been so much excitement as when we play other teams," said Berends.
This isn't the first time these two groups have held a friendly competition of bowling. Fulton Manor took tournament number one by 17 points. They say its not about winning, but making friends.
"Just getting together with the different ones and bowling," said Floy Boelens.
At the end of the day the Grand Rapids Senior Neighbors won. Still, everyone who played says they enjoyed the companionship.
