Muskegon Seniors Evacuated from Trinity Manor
Residents of the Trinity Manor retirement community were forced to evacuate the center due to a gas leak Thursday.
Road crews reportedly hit a gas line while working along Marquette Avenue. Trinity Manor, in the 300 block of Shonat Street, was emptied out as a precaution. There were no injuries.
The seniors were allowed to return to their homes overnight.
Walker Party Store Robbed
Walker Police are looking for a man who robbed Archie's Party Store in Standale Thursday night.
The man was holding a handgun when he walked into the store on Lake Michigan Drive around 11 p.m. and made off with some money.
He was described as being between 20 and 30 years old and wearing all black clothing.
Police Get Three More Meth Arrests
Police raided a home in Comstock Township Thursday night and came away with three people charged with making meth.
They described the home in the 3100 block of Casper Street as being a "one pot" meth lab. A hazardous materials displosal team had to take care of cleanup.
Credit Unions, Chrysler Offer Vehicle Discounts
A Michigan credit union group says credit union members can get discounts when buying new Chrysler Group LLC vehicles through the "Invest in America" program.
CUCorp in Livonia says the discounts are available on all 2009 models and certain 2010-model cars and light trucks. CUCorp is a subsidiary of the Michigan Credit Union League.
The group says the incentives are available regardless of whether a credit union finances the vehicle purchase.
The Chrysler discounts began Nov. 3 and are available through Nov. 30.
