Arrested for Home Invasion in Nelson Township (April 29, 2009)
KENT COUNTY -
Investigators in Kent County say witness accounts led them to an arrest after a home invasion in Nelson Township on Monday.
Police were called to a home on Pringle Road at about 10:30 a.m. on reports of a home invasion in progress. The suspect had fled, but witnesses were able to give officers enough information for them to develop a suspect.
A search warrant was issued for Vince Demorest's home in Sand Lake and he was arrested.
He's being charged with two counts of Home Invasion, along with being a habitual offender. Bond was set at $30,000
