OTTAWA COUNTY - Friday's storms caused major flooding across West Michigan. Areas along 104th Ave. in Zeeland were some of the hardest hit.

Many roads had to be blocked off including 104th Ave. and Adams St.

On Friday a man had to be rescued from his van after getting trapped on the flooded road. Today the road is still blocked off and the van is still trapped inside.

Many people living around 104th and Chicago Dr., adjacent to the north branch of the Black River, have flooded yards and basements.

They say problems like this happen every year during storms. It's just something they've grown accustomed to.

Much of the flooding in those areas has gone down significantly in the last 24 hours.
