OTTAWA COUNTY -
A man from Jenison is in the Ottawa County jail tonight, charged with possessing child pornography.
Last month, investigators in another state contacted the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department, concerned that 55 year old William DeBoer may have child pornography in his home. Yesterday, sheriff's investigators went to DeBoer's house and arrested him on one count of possession of child sexually abusive material, a four year felony.
DeBoer is also charged with violating probation, for an October 2008 conviction for using a computer to commit a crime. He's being held without bond tonight in the Ottawa County Jail.
