Missing Man

Larry Willard Pigott, 71, went missing from the Kohl's Department Store just before 1:00 p.m. (June 24, 2009)

KENTWOOD - UPDATE: Kentwood Police officials say Larry Willard Pigott has been located by family members several blocks from his home.

Kentwood Police Department are looking for a man in the area of the Woodland Shopping Center.

Larry Willard Pigott, a 71 year old man who suffers from Alzheimer's, was with family members just before one this afternoon at Kohl's Department Store, located at 3131 28th Street SE, when he disappeared. Police say he's about 5'10", 160 lbs, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing glasses, blue jeans, a white short-sleeve polo shirt with a blue crest on the pocket and brown tie shoes.

Police say Mr. Pigott takes medication for heart problems and depression, so they consider his disappearance to be of an 'endangered' status. His family told police that Mr. Pigott does not know when he is in a dangerous environment.
