KENT COUNTY -
The Michigan State Police recently released a study of the Top 100 High Crash Roads in Michigan for 2008, and Alpine Avenue Northwest in Alpine Township was number five.
According to the study, there were 54 accidents last year in the area of Alpine Avenue NW between 4 mile and Henze. That breaks down to about one accident a week.
Those who live and work in the area say it's because people are in too much of a hurry and they run red lights.
