KENT COUNTY - It was announced in a Tuesday morning press conference, that there will be 3 H1N1 vaccine clinics held for the CDC's target groups in Kent County.

Those specific groups include Kent County residents 6 months old through 24 years. Caregivers of children under 6 months old, pregnant women and people 25-64 with underlying health conditions that would put them at a higher risk for contracting H1N1 are also included in the high priority groups.

The clinics will begin this Saturday, November 7th and will continue on the 14th and 21st.

The vaccines will be given at the Fuller Clinic at 700 Fuller Avenue NE, and the Sheldon Clinic at 121 Franklin SE Suite 130.

The Fuller Clinic will receive 2,800 doses for each date and the Franklin location will get 1,880 each week.

They will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on those Saturdays.

Appointments are mandatory for people to receive the vaccine. You can make an appointment by calling 2-1-1.

People will not be let in without an appointment.
