OTTAWA COUNTY -

The Ottawa County Health Department says the amount of bacteria at three area beaches exceed the state's Water Quality Standards for total body contact for the time being.
A no swimming advisory has been issued for Lake Macatawa's Dunton Park, Fallen Leaf Park, and Holland State Park (Lake Macatawa) in Holland. The extended advisory is a result of Monday's test results. Another round of tests are being conducted today, with results expected sometime tomorrow morning.
The high mounts of bacteria are a result of Sanitary Sewer Overflow from the recent amount of rainfall the area received, namely last Friday.
Officials say the advisory will be lifted once acceptable E.coli culture levels are obtained.
